| The general Annual Meeting took place this year on January 9th, 2011. The topic was: History of Donations in Iran and its impact on Iranian Communities Outside of Iran, and featured the guest speaker Ahmad Karimi Hakkak, Ph.D. Dr. Hakkak is a Professor of Persian Language, Literature, and Culture, and is the Director of The Roshan Center for Persian Studies at the University of Maryland.
