The keynote speaker for this event was Mr. Bahman Maghsoudlou, who has a PhD. degree in film and cinema. He is a well-known Iranian documentary film maker, and he presented a comprehensive report on Abbas Kiarostami, the most-famous Iranian and internationally-known and respected film maker.

March 14, 2015 - IAS Nowruz gala at Crest Hollow Country Club, Westbury, L.I.

The music for this event was provided by Andy & Band. We honored Ms. Maryam Khosravani, the Founder and President of the Iranian American Women Foundation. We also honored Mr. Reza Zarghamee, the author of Discovering Cyrus: The Persian conqueror astride the ancient world.

December 23, 2015 - Shab-e-Yalda Celebration at Patoug, Queens.

A night of music, poetry, and fun in celebrating the longest night of the year, "Yalda," an ancient Persian Tradition.
