School of Persian Language, "The Ferdowsi School"
The Ferdowsi School began its 2005-2006 with forty-five students. Children range from kindergarten to advanced. Our mission goes further than teaching students just the Persian language; it also includes familiarizing them with our culture and heritage. With that spirit in mind, we organized different events throughout the year, they included a Mehreghan celebration in the fall, Yalda in the winter, and a Nowruz Celebration in the spring. A ceremony was held at the end of the school year in which they receive their certificate or Karnemeh as well a warm reception. The school's success is a testament to the dedication of the teachers and parent involvement.
